IDTA MISS DANCE of GREAT BRITAIN 2007

The event at Blackpool Winter Gardens was held to a packed audience of enthusiastic dance school teachers, pupils, friends, family and fans of all ages and was a resounding success judging by the whoops of joy and applause throughout!!

Inspirational Competitors

The competitors were an inspiration to all dancers and their performances were testament to their hard work and ambition to be the very best they could be. They exhibited maturity, polish, elegance, grace and passion beyond their years and are a credit to their dance teachers who also must have worked tirelessly to achieve such high standards.

Outstanding Finalists

The adjudicators had their work cut out to narrow the competitors down in the dance offs to just the winner and runner-up! The final seven were all outstanding and there was hardly room for a pin-prick between them.

A special mention must go to Harriet Brook for her brilliant performance to “Bye-Bye Blackbird”. If she had spread her “wings” and flown off the stage it would not have been surprising. An absolutely fabulous performance with perfect interpretation and movement to music !!! everyone commented

IDTA Challenge

Thanks to the I.D.T.A and the organising committee for a magnificent event and backstage helpers without whom it would be impossible to cope.

Special Mention

To the Dance Schools and Teachers whose dedication is limitless, and most of all, to the dancers who work so hard and who deserve our support and enthusiasm to further their ambitions. Well done, everyone!!
